Kettering College is a private college in Kettering, Ohio. The college is owned by the Kettering Medical Center and chartered by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Kettering College’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree program is the only Physician Assistant program offered in southwest Ohio. The college was built in 1967 next to the Charles F. Kettering Memorial Hospital. In October 2014, Kettering College received approval to offer a Ph.D. program in Occupational Therapy. It is the college’s first Ph.D. program. The college made a submission to the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education. The college expects the program to begin as early as the beginning of 2015.
